Thermal conductivity study of Sr2RuO4 in oriented magnetic field

摘要: Abstract Thermal conductivity κ was measured on high quality single crystals of Sr 2 RuO 4 , with T C = 1.37K close to the value for impurity free material (1.5 K). Linear decrease κ/ in is found below 1 K. Dependence magnetic field perpendicular conducting plane consistent behavior type II superconductor, giving H ≈0.01 and =0.08 . In parallel vs. dependence principally different, showing rapid restoration narrow vicinity upper critical field. This good agreement a – phase diagram determined from specific heat AC susceptibility measurements assigned field-induced formation superconducting state nodes gap.
