摘要: This paper describes a methodology for the health monitoring of composite marine joint structures based on strain measurements under operational loading using embedded fibre Bragg grating sensors. Finite element modelling indicated that presence disbond significantly altered bond-line longitudinal distribution. was verified qualitatively through an experimental test program. The results are examined in relation to FE predictions and implications practical strain-based SHM system discussed. A technique is developed, novel signal processing statistical outlier detection. enables sensor be used damage detection without reference high-fidelity numerical model structure which often difficult resource-intensive generate. shown provide successful diagnoses with acceptable level accuracy. Further improvement diagnostic accuracy may achieved by increasing density.
