摘要: A wide set of 3 mol% Y2O3-stabilized ZrO2 (3YSZ) powders have been synthesized by the sol–gel method without modifiers from solutions zirconium n-propoxide and yttrium acetate prepared with different water/Zr molar ratio concentration, effect these two synthesis variables on pressureless sinterability 3YSZ has investigated. It was found that increases increasing concentration ratio, which is attributed to smaller cluster size developed during synthesis. Implications for preparation more sinterable are discussed.
