Optical Study of Phase Transition from Tetrahedrally into Octahedrally Coordinated MnS

摘要: MnS thin films on glass substrates prepared by thermal vacuum evaporation show zincblende/wurtzite and rocksalt structure, respectively in dependence of the substrate temperature. The thermal-treatment induced transition from tetrahedrally (ZB/W) into octahedrally (RS) coordinated phase is studied optically photoluminescence, excitation, absorption spectroscopy X-ray diffraction measurements. Emission bands red infrared spectral region are observed being characteristic for phase, respectively. excitation due to energy transfer Frenkel excitons various stages ZB/W RS transition. As a result this shift edge about 300 meV lower energies found ascribed corresponding energy-gap difference. MnS-Dunnschichten auf Glassubstrat, die durch thermische Vakuumverdampfung hergestellt wurden, zeigen Abhangigkeit von der Substrattemperatur Zinkblende/Wurtzit- bzw. Steinsalz-Struktur. Der Temperung induzierte ubergang aus tetraedrisch oktaedrisch koordinierte Phase wird optisch Photolumineszenz-, Anregungs- und Absorptionsspektroskopie Rontgenbeugungs-Messungen untersucht. Es wurden Emissionsbanden im roten infraroten Spektralbereich beobachtet, charakteristisch fur sind. Die Anregung infolge Energietransfer Frenkel-Exzitonen verschiedenen Stadien RS-Phasenumwandlung Als Ergebnis dieses Phasenubergangs eine Verschiebung Absorptionskante um etwa zu kleineren Energien hin gefunden, einer entsprechenden Differenz Energielucken zugeschrieben wird.
