摘要: Genus Cynanchum L. belongs to the family Asclepiadaceae, which comprise more than 200 species distributed worldwide. In Chinese medical practice, numerous drugs (such as tablets and powders) containing different parts of plants this genus are used treat snake bites, bruises, osteoblasts, rheumatoid arthritis tumors. A search for original articles published on cynanchum was performed by using several resources, including Flora China Official Website various scientific databases, such PubMed, SciFinder, Web Science, Science Direct, Knowledge Resource Integrated (CNKI). Advances in botanical, ethnomedicinal, phytochemical, pharmacological studies reviewed paper. Results showed that 440 compounds, C21 steroids, steroidal saponins, alkaloids, flavonoids terpene, have been isolated identified from up now. vivo vitro shown possess an array biological activities, anti-tumor, neuroprotective anti-fungal effects. Popular traditional prescription sp. also summed However, many received little or no attention. Moreover, few reports clinical use toxic effects available. Further attention should be focused study these gather information their respective toxicology data relevant quality-control measures value crude extracts, active bioactive metabolites genus. research conducted, bioactivity-guided isolation strategies emphasized. addition, systematic chemical composition enhanced.
