摘要: In ombrotrophic bogs the surface peat layer is supplied with chemical substances only from atmosphere. Therefore, cores these can be used to study temporal trends in atmospheric deposition of pollutants. this work epithermal neutron activation analysis was applied for first time distribution 35 elements profiles bogs. The selected samples were Finnmark county northern Norway, one pristine site far any local pollution source, and other strongly affected by long-term operation a Russian copper-nickel smelters located close border. are classified respect their behavior uppermost 40 cm peat, similarities differences between two discussed. As compared more commonly analytical techniques based on acid decomposition sample, ENAA has advantage providing total concentrations elements.
