摘要: Sixty-seven strains belonging to 47 species of Basidiomycetes were examined for their acid-producing abilities in glucose media, both the presence and absence CaCO(3), stationary shake cultures. Some found produce large quantities oxalic acid. The could be separated into two groups. Strains one group (mostly brown-rot fungi) able acid, regardless whether CaCO(3) was present medium. other white-rot characterized by ability acid only when added With latter group, shake-culturing generally more effective than culturing respect production. In CaCO(3)-containing Schizophyllum commune, Merulius tremellosus, Porodisculus pendulus substantial amounts L-malic as a main metabolic product, along with small acids Especially, S. commune M. tremellosus may employed malic species.
