摘要: Abstract Background The aim of this study was to investigate a novel oxidative stress marker (thiol/disulphide homeostasis) in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and compare the results healthy controls for first time literature. Methods A total 450 participants including 300 AMI 150 individuals were included study. Left ventricular ejection fraction, body mass index, peak troponin I levels, triglyceride, cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein, high-density lipoprotein (HDL), native thiol, disulphide as well disulphide/native thiol disulphide/total ratios compared between groups. Results There significant differences left fraction troponin, HDL, levels ( P Conclusion Thiol/disulphide homeostasis may be used because it is readily available, easily calculated, relatively cheap. Further studies are needed confirm pathophysiologic role thiol/disulphide AMI.
