摘要: Evolution of Al-Ti oxide inclusion during 3 hour isothermal heating Fe-Al-Ti alloy at 1573 K (1300 °C) was studied. Homogeneous spherical with nonstoichiometric composition observed in two as-cast alloys. After heating, most the homogeneous inclusions changed to heterogeneous ones Al-rich and Ti-rich parts, while remaining oxides were rare both The concentration gradient Al O inside inclusion. size distribution extended more broadly, shape from irregular. mechanism variation proposed as diffusion surface precipitate alumina heating.
