摘要: Abstract Mechanical properties (inpact strength, KIC, elastic modulus, hardness and loss factor) of ATBN/DGEBA blends various compositions, cured at different temperatures, have been investigated. Both homogeneous heterogeneous materials, with properties, obtained. ATBN has shown to be ineffective if a massive phase separation does not occur. Maximum toughness, measured by is obtained in the 120°–140°C cure temperature range. SEM micrographs impacted specimens show that moving cracks go through segregated particles suggest they lack ductility. The improvement fracture resistance also depends on modifications matrix properties.
