摘要: Patients with unexplained chronic pain and/or fatigue have been described for centuries in the medical literature, although terms used to describe these symptom complexes changed frequently. The currently preferred syndromes are fibromyalgia and syndrome, names which prominent clinical features of illness without any attempt identify cause. This review delineates definitions syndromes, overlapping features. A hypothesis is presented demonstrate how genetic environmental factors may interact cause development we postulate caused by central nervous system dysfunction. Various components appear be involved, including hypothalamic pituitary axes, pain-processing pathways, autonomic system. These changes lead corresponding immune function, epiphenomena rather than illnesses.
