摘要: The gene XYL1, encoding a xylose reductase, from Pichia stipitis was transformed into mutant of Saccharomyces cerevisiae incapable glycerol production because deletion the genes GPD1 and GPD2. strain capable anaerobic glucose conversion in presence added xylose, indicating that reductase reaction can fulfill role glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase as redox sink. specific xylitol rate obtained 0.38 g g-1 h-1.
