摘要: Caulerpa spp. including seaweed and macro-algae can be found in a large number at Coastal Serangan, Bali-Indonesia. spp was historically used for food vegetable. However, our today life, this plant applied as material skin care products, especially UV protection. The aim of study is to know the active component caulerpa extract its inhibition premature aging induced by UV-B radiation through collagen expression. This descriptive experimental research applying randomized posttest only control group design. Active contained are carotenoid, vitamin A, C, E, polyphenols, minerals amino acids. Topical application suppress damage. Increased expression all groups just good astaxanthin improving 0.2% most effective dose
