摘要: Brain death (BD) influences the early course of allografts by triggering a series nonspecific inflammatory events. A distinct role for innate immunity in initiation phase tissue damage following BD and response is increasingly appreciated. In this chapter, BD-induced inflammation will be addressed, focused on two major systems immunity—toll-like receptors (TLRs) complement.
