摘要: A number of modifications to the Wheeler fatigue crack retardation model were proposed. The allow account for delay due applied overloads, initial growth acceleration immediately following an overload, overload interaction and net section yielding effect observed in behaviour many materials. modified was used predict life a series single multiple overloading tests conducted on 350 WT steel. results showed that predicted lives with greater accuracy than original model.
