摘要: Cyclamate sodium has been reported to induce photosensitivity 1-3 and, in rats, cancer of the urinary bladder. 4 However, best our knowledge, there have no reports literature urticaria induced by this chemical. We report herein such a case. Report Case A 63-year-old woman was referred hospital because ten-year history almost daily chronic urticaria. Occasionally, associated symptoms included headaches, prickling sensation eyes, dyspnea, abdominal pain, and tendency diarrhea. These were controlled with antihistamines, but recurred immediately when medication stopped. She had personal or family atopy. Intradermal skin test results for 43 inhalant food allergens negative.
