摘要: Abstract Aluminum matrix composites reinforced with α-Al 2 O 3 , Al Ni and particulates were fabricated from powders by microwave synthesis. The reaction processes resulting microstructures analyzed using differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy energy dispersive spectroscopy. results showed that the ignition temperatures of reactions generated conventional methods approximately 695 °C 735 °C, respectively. time heating synthesis was about 8 min, which much shorter than (more 60 min) consumed method. It found microstructure prepared finer methods. densities 2.433 g/cm 2.622 g/cm Some intermediate compounds also observed in final
