摘要: For pt.I see ibid., vol.18, p.4845 (1985). By measurement of the variation with temperature potential on sodium chloride surfaces, freshly cleaved in ultrahigh vacuum, it has been found possible to obtain a value for enthalpy h- and entropy s- formation an individual cation vacancy. The method depends location isoelectric Ti at which surface is zero knee Tk that characterises change from extrinsic intrinsic behaviour. Location requires experimental determining interface between metal electrode crystal opposite being measured. values obtained are h-=1.15+or-0.02 eV s-=4.1 k+or-0.2 k K-1 hence, by using known Schottky entropy, corresponding quantities anion vacancy may also be determined.
