摘要: This multi-institutional sleep study involved two phases aimed at investigating alterations in patients with any stage of breast and lung cancer. The first phase this used an 82-item, 20-minute telephone survey to elicit information regarding the impact disturbances on a convenience sample 150 patients. Of these patients, 44% reported problem during month before interview. Significant relations included these: report problems prediagnosis over past (x = 5.82; p 0.02), duration medication use frequency (r 0.58; 0.05), age severity 0.38; 0.21; < 0.10). Communication health care providers occurred 16.6% reporting disturbance. second explored type, frequency, perceptions causation, support, methods coping problem. A qualitative approach was phase. one-time interview 42 derived from sample, revealed 45% prevalence analysis responses suggested that are related experiences other symptoms cancer treatment.
