摘要: Abstract The effectiveness of the Fenton's reagent (H2O2/Fe2+) in treatment carpet dyeing wastewater was investigated under different operational conditions, namely, H2O2 and FeSO4 concentrations, initial pH temperature. Up to 95% COD removal efficiency attained using 5.5 g/l 385 g/l at a 3, temperature 50 °C. H2O2/Fe2+ ratio (g/g) found be between 95 290 for maximum removal. It noteworthy that, keeping constant within range 95–290, it became possible decrease concentration 1.1 g/l 96.3 g/l, still achieving nearly same efficiency. relative efficiencies oxidation coagulation stages revealed that removed organic compounds which were not by oxidation, indicating acted as polishing step.
