摘要: The method of quasi-elastic light-scattering spectroscopy was used to establish quantitatively the concentration high mmolecular weight (HMW) aggregates present in normal human intact lens as a function age. HMW proteins increases monotonically with are absent infant lens, but represent 3% total soluble protein at age 60 years. percent measured lenses various ages by light scattering is striking agreement values determined biochemically.
