摘要: With a stereoscope, as used for the inspection of aerial photographs, sequential photographs roots obtained by endoscope method from ‘minirhizotrons’ can yield much more information than hitherto. A series shows that most seen in minirhizotron grassland grew on surface lexan tube, while there was gap between and soil. Decay extensive root hair zones around may make new growth rhizotron wall soil invisible. Some consequences these observations are discussed.
