摘要: Rationale and Objectives Radiology has been an increasingly important component of preclinical anatomy instruction since the 1960s. The global status medical imaging pedagogies radiologists' roles in education is not well established but determining specialty's contribution to undergraduate education. Materials Methods PubMed was searched with various combinations MeSH terms including “radiology,” “undergraduate education,” “anatomy.” Articles were reviewed for relevance, referenced articles possible relevance hand-traced ensure a wide capture articles. Results Although more schools around world are using teach anatomy, some regions, such as United States, show decline proportion taught by radiologists. Lectures, small group discussions, self-instruction remain mainstay current have witnessed dramatic changes over past few decades respect types used. Newer use contextual hands-on experiences improve spatial application principles. Qualitative quantitative studies report somewhat mixed results pedagogical efficacies demonstrate generally high acceptance students instructors often significant exam score improvement. specialty must overcome several challenges it become involved education, teaching incentives protected academic time. Conclusions As clinical medicine grow digital, ever that radiologists continue develop new contribute greater roles.
