摘要: The aim of this paper was to map the scientific research on soybean physiology by using bibliographic review and analyses papers indexed up July 31, 2014 in web science database. A total 1682 non-redundant records were curated. experienced two major periods. first period from 1943 when published 1989 during which a small gradual increase took place with no more than 12 annual publications. second being 1990 present, saw substantial publications ranging 35 92 per year. Authors representing 76 countries involved research. Drs. T.R. Sinclair Dr. D.B. Egli most productive authors while USDA/ARS, University Illinois Iowa State influential articles. journals Journals Crop Science, Plant Physiology, Soil, Field Crops Research subject categories nitrogen fixation, photosynthesis, growth, mineral nutrition, genotypes, drought stress, yield quality. Gene expression for quality under stress has become favored topic physiology. Eight out top ten institutions located USA. USA exceeded all other independent collaborative status described here may serve as tool guiding researchers their future work.
