Mary P. Follett: translating philosophy into a paradigm of lifelong learning

摘要: There is a divergence between the contributions of Mary Parker Follett on an intellectual plane and practical application her ideas rationale. Apart from unparagoned writing style, obvious complexity abstract interdisciplinary approach makes it extremely challenging to understand apply insights achieve harmonious organizational life. Yet, in integrative mind, she viewed philosophy as directly related action reality. This paper reduces this by translating thoughts into guidelines for manager, educator researcher. The Follett's paradigm lifelong learning education, key lasting change (hitherto unexplored), addressed, along with implications purpose paper, therefore, view work through new lens – that advocate learning. Two appendices list contribution management thought education.
