Meta-analyses performed unadjusted odds ratios (ORs) mean differences along with 95% confidence interval (CI) calculated. Main outcome measures. Low birth weight (LBW), preterm (PTB), small gestational age (SGA), weight, age. Results. Forty-one most moderate risk bias included. Nulliparity associated increased LBW (OR 1.41, CI 1.26, 1.58) SGA 1.89, 1.82, 1.96) reduction (weighted difference −282 g, −486, −79 g) but not PTB 1.13, 0.96, 1.34).
