Prospection, Collection, and Preservation of Marine Samples

摘要: Abstract Organisms thriving in the marine environment, living under unique conditions of temperature, pressure, and even chemical surroundings are responsible for presence countless bioactive compounds with commercial potential. Bioprospecting can be defined as collection such biological materials, well analysis its properties contents, purpose developing a product. Thus, present chapter will focus on different sampling strategies that have to taken into account ensure appropriate micro- macroorganisms from natural environments. Also, bioprospecting extreme environments addressed due their peculiar characteristics, together preservation samples.
