摘要: Abstract This study investigates the steady state operation and performance of a 253 MW Integrated Coal Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) that is based on design operating parameters existing Willem-Alexander plant in Buggenum, Netherlands. For further optimization such plants, an extensive base case model IGCC developed validated with actual process data. The accurately predicts mass flows, temperatures pressures as well net efficiency 42%. Exergy losses are experienced to greatest extent gasifier combustion chamber gas turbine which indicates efficiencies mature IGCC’s could be optimized. To enhance environmental IGCC’s, specified can employed simulate alternatives for biomass co-gasification carbon capture technologies.
