摘要: Purpose: The objective of this study was to compare the effect phosphoric acid and a self-etching adhesive on short long-term bond strength light-curing sealant unground primary permanent enamel. Methods: A resin (Delton Light Curing Pit & Fissure Sealant‐ CLEAR) bonded flattest, peripheral surface 40 molars following conditioning cleaned enamel with 38% or Prompt L-Pop (N=10/group). After either 1 week year in water, shear strengths were measured. Failure mode determined stereo microscope. Results: There no significant difference between acid-etch groups, nor 1-week 1-year results (P>.05). However, lower than those (P=.0021). number pure failures each 8 groups varied 0 3 (0-30%), remaining teeth displayed mixed adhesive-cohesive failures. Conclusions: studied seems an attractive alternative acidetch technique for application young children where simplifications clinical procedure are warranted. (Pediatr Dent. 2004;26:240-244)
