The prevalence of mental illness in prison.

摘要: Over the last decade state prisons have experienced unprecedented growth and many demographic changes. At same time, courts are requiring states to provide mental health screening treatment prisoners. Findings from recent studies indicate that prevalence of illness is higher in than community, comorbidity common. Our ability generalize these limited, however, because major shifts mix during past decade. New on prisons, which consider changes would help planners allocate funds staff more effectively meet needs individuals.
