摘要: A device and method for shortening the chordae tendineae by heating them. Shortening stabilizes atrioventricular valve to which they are attached, thus reducing or halting prolapse. catheter having a tip system is inserted in heart of patient maneuvered an operating surgeon so that can induce transfer heat tendineae. The heats direct transmission inducing with electromagnetic radiation. monitors when desired degree shorting has been achieved, removed from patient.
