摘要: The theory of the scattering plane waves sound by isotropic circular cylinders and spheres is extended to take into account shear which can exist (in addition compressional waves) in scatterers solid material. results be expressed terms functions already tabulated. Scattering patterns computed on basis are shown good agreement with experimental measurements distribution‐in‐angle scattered water metal cylinders. Rapid changes frequency total energy found occur near frequencies normal modes free vibration body.
