摘要: Trichogramma spp., among the most common parasitoids used for augmentation biological control, often are mass-reared on eggs of Mediterranean flour moth, Ephestia kuehniella (Zeller). To evaluate removal nutritional components from E. larval diet and reduce production costs, colonies were maintained using one three diets: a standard consisting eight ingredients, reduced containing whole wheat flour, glycerol, Brewer’s yeast, or third minimal only flour. The sustained fastest development, female pupae with greatest mass, highest level adult emergence, per female. Eggs moths reared as larvae had equivalent length, percent hatch. Females fed produced least mass that shorter lowest exposed separately to brassicae Bezdenko females determine their acceptance oviposition. More parasitized by females, diets being less acceptable. emergence was same regardless diet; however, largest wasps emerged greater proportion them females. Consequently, resulted in rate reproduction robust superior T. wasps.
