摘要: The radio counterparts to the IRAS Redshift Survey galaxies are identified in NRAO VLA Sky (NVSS) catalog. Our new catalog of IR flux-limited (S60 μm ≥ 2 Jy) complete sample 1809 lists accurate positions, redshifts, and 1.4 GHz fluxes. This is 6 times larger size 5 deeper redshift coverage (to z ≈ 0.15) than those used earlier studies far-IR (FIR) properties local volume. well-known radio-FIR correlation obeyed by overwhelming majority (≥98%) IR-selected galaxies, AGNs their excess emission constitute only about 1% sample, independent luminosity. These FIR-selected can account for entire population late-type field volume, continuum may be directly infer extinction-free star formation rate most cases. Both 60 luminosity functions reasonably well described linear sums two Schechter functions, one representing normal, other starbursts luminous galaxies. integrated FIR density volume (4.8 ± 0.5) × 107 L☉ Mpc-3, less 10% which contributed with LFIR 1011 L☉. inferred 0.015 0.005 M☉ yr-1 Mpc-3.
