摘要: Diabetic cardiomyopathy (DCM) is characterized by cardiac dysfunction and cardiomyocyte apoptosis. Oxidative stress suggested to be the major contributor development of DCM. This study was intended evaluate protective effect low molecular weight fucoidan (LMWF) against in diabetic rats. Type 2 goto-kakizaki rats were untreated or treated with LMWF (50 100 mg/kg/day) for three months. The establishment DCM model effects on function evaluated echocardiography isolated heart perfusion. Ventricle staining H-E Sirius Red performed investigate structural changes myocardium. Functional evaluation demonstrated that has a beneficial enhancing myocardial contractility mitigating fibrosis. Additionally, exerted significant inhibitory reactive oxygen species production myocyte apoptosis hearts. depressed activity superoxide dismutase also improved intervention LMWF. Moreover, robustly inhibited enhanced expression protein kinase C β, an important oxidative stress, high glucose-treated cardiomyocytes. In conclusion, possesses through ameliorations PKCβ-mediated subsequent diabetes.
