摘要: BACKGROUND: A new design for a methanol plant is proposed in which CO2 addition, as one of the important parameters, used to optimize synthesis gas composition. An attempt has been made assess environmental features well process operability plant, required provided from reformer flue gas. As starting point, simulation conventional reference case (RMC) and also green integrated (GIMC) are performed obtain operational kinetic parameters. In order compare properly GIMC RMC, objective function defined so that SynGas production, thereby equal RMC. RESULTS: optimization optimum values decision variables calculated using genetic algorithm. best case, eco-efficiency indicators would decrease 330.3 kg tonne−1 MeOH, 15% lower than RMC. The damage cost 2.9 million dollars could be prevented when compared with RMC. CONCLUSION: It was found needed by an environmentally friendly cleaner Furthermore, capable reducing emission while its mitigation potential depends significantly on type solvent employed GIMC. results obtained show should considered design.
