摘要: Infiltrative cerebral gliomas remain a neurosurgical challenge despite the latest achievements in neuroimaging techniques and microsurgical approaches. In this paper authors present their experience 85 cases of stereotactic biopsies performed for infiltrative, multicentric deep-seated gliomas. The neuroimagistic tools used these procedures included Leksell system software: Stereotactic Planning System (SPS), NTPS 8.2. histopatological results (according to World Health Organization (WHO) classification) were: 51 glioblastomas (grade IV) (60%), 7 anaplastic astrocytomas III) (8,2%), 13 grade II diffuse (15,3%), 6 I (7,1%), one oligodendroglioma (1,2%), 3 oligodendrogliomas (3,5%), case ganglioglioma 2 ependymomas (2,3%). 21 (24,7%) immunohistochemistry has been order obtain an accurate histopathological result. series, early postoperative mortality was 0%, with no clinically significant hemorrhages after biopsy procedures. Temporary increase neurological deficits noticed patients (8,2%). conclusion, image-guided represents now safe diagnostic method gliomas, which can favorably influence therapeutic management patients.
