摘要: A positive relationship between socioeconomic status and health has been observed over many populations time periods. One of the factors mediating this relation is institutional environment in which people function. We consider longitudinal data from two countries with very different environments, United States The Netherlands. To structure empirical analysis, we develop a theoretical model relating changes to income status. show that or wealth inequality closely connected inequality. empirically estimate counterparts relationships generally corroborative results.
