摘要: Plants produce a wide spectrum of specialized metabolites that function in plant chemical defense against pathogens and herbivores or have signaling roles the interaction with other organisms. The plant-specialized received most attention legumes general, Lotus japonicus as legume model species, are proanthocyanidins, isoflavonoids, cyanogenic non-cyanogenic hydroxynitrile glucosides, triterpenoids. Here, we review these four classes terms specific compounds produced by L. japonicus, biosynthetic genes responsible, genomic organization genes. We previously reported non-homologous encoding complete pathway for glucosides lotaustralin linamarin organized gene cluster. additionally describe clusters genome triterpenoid isoflavonoid biosynthesis. A explaining how selection reduced recombination results cluster formation is presented.
