摘要: Al LM6 hollow cylinder is fabricated using horizontal centrifugal casting which produce a very fine grain on the outer surface of structure. In this study, effect motor speed and pouring temperature microstructure determined. The used during are 1300rpm, 1500rpm 1700rpm 690°C, 710°C 725°C. produced by molten into cylindrical mold connected with shaft it rotated until solidified. Then, cross-section observed OM SEM/EDS. From observation, distributions Si more concentrated at inner parts size bigger parts. result shows that particles part highest (1700rpm) have most compared casted other speeds.
