摘要: Based on high permittivity dielectric materials, silicon and sapphire, antennas for the frequency range 110-150 GHz were designed. Dielectric rod waveguide (DRW) are travelling wave type of with a wide operating band. Suitable dielectrics offer reduced size compared to low materials without losing waveguiding properties. No launching horns needed either. The designs studied simulations verified measurements prototypes. Both simulation measurement results show very band radiation characteristics almost constant beamwidth.
