摘要: The supercritical fluid (SCF) extraction technique was extended by its application to SCF-solid catalyzed reactions that otherwise take place in a two-fluid-phase reactor. Using CO/sub 2/ as solvent, an alkylaromatic hydrocarbon such toluene contacted with air the presence of solid metal redox or acid catalysts, and underwent partial oxidation benzaldehyde, benzyl alcohol, cresols. This process should result more rapid rates mass transfer intrinsic reaction than is customary for at conventional conditions, efficient quenching desired products; addition it allow easier product separation decrease temperature will improve yield products.
