摘要: Miocene succession at the Ryszkowa Wola high (Sieniawa–Rudka area), Carpathian Foredeep Basin: facies and stratigraphic interpretation of wellbore 3D seismic data. S u m a r y. The Polish Basin (PCFB) is northern compartment foreland basin system that surrounds orogenic belt. axis eastern part PCFB plunges gently towards SE, where basin-fill exceeds 2000 metres in thickness. developed shallow marine ramp settings subdivided into 3 lithostratigraphic units: sub evaporitic (onshore-to-nearshore), evaporitic, supra-evaporitic (offshore-to-estuarine). upper unit includes siliciclastic series (Upper Badenian–Sarmatian), which constitutes main segment succession. It displays an asymmetric, shallowing-up trend, expressed by following sequence: hemipelagic→turbiditic→deltaic→low-energy nearshore-to-estuarine associations. Sediment accummulation has been significantly overprinted higher-frequency cyclicity encloses several genetic sequences bounded MFS surfaces. An early phase development was characterised high-rate subsidence slow-rate sedimentation (hemipelagic facies). turbiditic association identified within Sieniawa–Rudka area resulted from southward progradation submarine fan/prodeltaic depositional system, mainly fed north–western continental margins basin. overall SE–ward palaeoslope inclination controlled deltaic progradation, had gradually replaced systems. late ENE palaeotransport directions. final filling took place shallow-water, low energy, environments. In stage development, complex NW–SE elongated basement pop-ups flower structures were produced reactivation inversion Mesozoic faults. growth these positive modified local patterns affected organisation systems series. A narrow elevation RyszkowaWola High (RWH) grew above one pop-up structures. Complex structural-stratigraphic hydrocarbon traps along RWH, due to interaction between faults successive Tidally-modified delta-top estuarine are most common hosts individual „deltaic” succession..
