摘要: In this paper we discuss the stability behavior of spherical polyelectrolyte brushes (SPB) in presence trivalent lanthanum counterions. Stability is measured through rate coagulation SPB as a function concentration using simultaneous static and dynamic light scattering. As counterion increases, observe which turn leads to dramatic decrease our particles. Since dependent upon balance between repulsive interactions thermal energy diffusing particles (reaction-limited colloidal aggregation; RLCA), then can relate particle value potential RLCA regime. These "microsurface measurements" (MSPM) allow us measure energies down order k(B)T. From determine precise information about net surface Ψ0 concentration. Moreover, demonstrate that simple mean-field model predicts counterions with high accuracy.
