摘要: Experiments were performed in which confined samples of TATB initiated by uniform and rapid energy deposition via a penetrating electron beam. The temperature pressure obtained the exothermic region with resolution about 2 ms. Information on reaction kinetics was to very high temperatures (≳1000 °C) pressures (≳ 3000 psi). absence thermal gradients greatly simplifies analysis. Values for initiation threshold, explosion temperature, kinetic parameters consistent below 380 °C. An observed endothermic near 390 °C shown be due an impurity. Non‐Arrhenius behavior at higher temperatures. A fast rise rate just above 400 °C is followed fall off from extrapolated values
