摘要: A tracking system uses RFID (radio frequency identification) tag technology to facilitate the identification and of items in an environment through a technique known as shadowing. As object or target moves within pre-described detection zone with communicating antenna sensors, blocks line sight between respective preventing electromagnetic coupling sensor thus casting shadow along sight. One approach this invention perform functions such theft (shrink) deterrence/ detection; motion objects by monitoring shadow; correlation analysis people shadows tagged (e.g., merchandise, articles) foster marketing merchandising effectiveness.
