摘要: Ten adult subjects with documented ragweed allergic rhinitis underwent progressive intranasal allergen challenge following pretreatment either an antihistamine/decongestant or placebo in a double-blind crossover fashion. Objective measurements of nasal and Eustachian tube (ET) function were made each dose using posterior rhinomanometry sonotubometry. The percent decrease airway function, expressed as change conductance, was significantly less the drug tests when compared pretreatment. also improved by 13 20 ET obstructed at higher antigen placebo. These results demonstrate role for preparations treatment well potential allergen-induced dysfunction.
