摘要: Abstract The effect of Cu 2+ on the DNA interaction [(bpy) 2 Ru(μ-bipp)Ru(bpy) ] 4+ (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine, bipp = 2,9-bis(2-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline)-1,10-phenanthroline) was studied by electronic absorption and emission methods. Bipp has vacant chelating sites in middle phenanthroline moiety can bite a absence DNA, as evidenced absorptive emissive decrease diruthenium complex. resulted heterometallic complex binds to via intercalation part bipp into base pairs, demonstrated dramatic hypochromism enhancement. maximum enhancement is 1.9-fold, larger than case without copper. bound cannot due difficult access caused deep insertion be told since did not disturb spectra
