摘要: The prevalence of various autoantibodies was studied in 75 leprosy patients comprising eight with lepromatous (LL), 36 borderline (BL) and 31 tuberculoid (BT), along 100 normal controls. Certain such as anti-nuclear antibodies (ANA), anti-single stranded DNA (anti-ssDNA) anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic (ANCA) were raised among patients. When ANCA specificities to anti-myeloperoxidase (anti-MPO), anti-proteinase3 (anti-PR3) anti-lactoferrin (anti-LF) studied, it found that the patterns immunofluorescence perinuclear (p-ANCA), (c-ANCA) atypical (X-ANCA) specificity by ELISA anti-MPO, anti-PR3 anti-LF varied LL, BL BT groups. However, a higher amount c-ANCA observed 62.5% cases, while incidences p-ANCA X-ANCA lower. LL group showed incidence compared groups, male preponderance for autoantibody development. Some unusual antibody profiles 'X'-ANCA also observed. study suggests formation could be quite prevalent variable spectrum there seems serological overlap autoimmune disease, which have pathogenetic importance developing complications.
