摘要: An understanding of population dynamics, especially in endangered species that present metapopulation structures, such Arvicola sapidus, is important to gain knowledge the dispersal and patterns both occupation space use. Here, we use radio tracking report for first time relationship southern water vole with environment a Mediterranean mountain riparian area also relationships between individuals. Along Montsant River, size home ranges, average distance travelled daily, density habitat quality were contrasted. In subsection better habitat, ranges distances smaller than poorer whilst was higher habitat. Interactions (static dynamic) individuals reflected low sociality, members different groups. Within group, adult males did not interact, but interactions male female adults intensified during reproductive period. The changed emergence new available gaps response reproduction needs. Tracking dispersant young showed trajectory stages made obvious high risk predation this Our results here, previously, indicate possible effect on individuals, emphasising importance structure conservation vole.
